Helfrichi Firefish Goby (Nemateleotris helfrichi)

Notes: A beautiful addition to any peaceful reef aquarium the Helfrichi Firefish Goby is quite docile and should not bother its tank-mates except for other firefish. It is best kept either singly or as a pair. Make sure to provide several hiding places for it to retreat. Keep a lid on your aquarium because the firefish is likely to try to jump out. Although the Helfrichi Firefish Goby will feed off of algae and zooplankton growing in the aquarium, you should supplement its diet with frozen carnivore preparations containing finely chopped marine flesh, vitamin-enriched brine shrimp, or mysid shrimp.
